For over 41 years, the Bluemont Concert Series entertained towns and villages throughout Virginia with a variety of musical programs. The concerts were started by a former President of the Bluemont Citizens Association, Peter Dunning. The BCS closed its doors for good in 2018. This spring, residents have revived the idea of presenting quality concerts we all could enjoy without traveling far from home.
On Thursday evening April 18th the Bluemont Concert Series returns to the Bluemont Community Center with an inaugural event headlined by the world-renowned cellist, Michael Fitzpatrick.
Tickets are limited in number and can be ordered at bluemontheritage.org. His performance is a benefit concert to support the activities of Bluemont Heritage and Michael's charity, Millenia Music's Healing Music Outreach Programs.
